Feb 14 2019

Amazing AGILOX BOXCARRIER application at Wild&Kuepfer ( in Schmerikon, Switzerland. As second IGV in a swarm, this one has the capability to pickup both: palettes as well as boxes / trays, two in a size of 600x400mm and up to each 50kg. The transformation (equiping with box carrier module) takes part automatically by load carrier definition in the transport job given by host system.

AGILOX boxcarriers advantage is to use the lift for different handover levels.
Many thanks to the great W&K staff for the unique teamwork that esured the really fast commissioning time of only a few days, including the stationary conveyors, that has been delivered and automated by AGILOX, too.

True Swarm Intelligence

An AGILOX acts independently, but is also an excellent team player. The AGILOX fleet operates without an external control system. All units communicate permanently with each other by the customer provided WiFi infrastructure. They automatically exchange information with each other, about the environment and the current order situation several times per second. A lot of artificial intelligence lies in the dynamic allocation of transport tasks. On the basis of virtual transport costs, which each participant constantly recalculates for all pending orders, it is automatically decided which vehicle fulfills an order. Many criteria are part of the calculation with configurable rating.
